Make your brand impossible to ignore. Our Raised Foil business cards combine a velvety “Soft Touch” matte background with metallic foil that is visibly raised above the surface of the card.
How It Works: We start with our premium 16pt cardstock and apply a soft suede/silk lamination. Then, we add a layer of metallic foil (Gold, Silver, or Copper) that you can actually feel. The result is a stunning 3D metallic effect that catches the light from every angle.

Just like Spot UV, Raised Foil requires a Mask File:
Print File (CMYK): Your main design (background, text, images).
Foil Mask File (Black & White):
100% Black (K): Areas where you want Foil.
White: Areas with NO Foil. Note: Do not put the foil design in your CMYK print file. It must be separate.
Yes! You can choose to have Raised Foil on the front only, or on both sides for maximum impact.
Traditional Foil Stamping: Presses the foil into the paper (debossed).
Raised Foil: Sits on top of the paper (embossed 3D feel). It is more modern and tactile.
The standard size in Canada is 3.5″ x 2″ (89mm x 51mm).
Design Tip: If your design has a background color, please include a “bleed” (extra margin). Your total file size should be 3.625″ x 2.125″ to prevent white edges after cutting.
These are our most substantial cards. With the 16pt stock + lamination + raised foil, the total thickness feels like a robust 19pt.
